Katie was born and raised in rural central Illinois, and is a 2014 graduate of the DCE program at Concordia University Chicago. She served four years in a northwest suburb of Chicago before accepting the call to Immanuel in the Fall of 2018. Her passion for ministry lies in helping others recognize the ways in which they can already live and love like Jesus right where they are, even as they continue to grow in their own faith. In addition to that, she enjoys large quantities of good coffee, school recess, and long walks down the aisles of Target.
